CWC’s new front and back end

Yep, CWC Gaming, the self-proclaimed pioneers of live casino gaming and operators of Casino Web Cam have a new front-end and back-end.

Of course they’re referring to a major software overhaul that has completely changed the look and functionality of their games (for the better), and not a dealer staff recruiting drive.  But you have to give them full marks for the cheeky way in which they are getting the message out there – certainly beats a long list of interface specification changes right?

But just in case you are still interested in what has in fact changed with their games, below is a quick summary.  The CWC Gaming blackjack, roulette and baccarat review pages will be updated in due course to reflect the upgrade.

What’s changed?

The first thing you’ll notice when you launch the games, is a totally different lobby.  Gone is the old, clunky and confusing page with links to ‘classic’ and ‘3D’ game versions.  In its place is a clean and simple lobby with clear presentation of currently available dealers, games and associated limits.

Links to all your account details, game rules and play history are easy to access.

When you click your chosen game you are presented with a choice of tables/limits and following table selection the game loads are nice and fast.

…and they look considerably better than the old platform

Graphics are sharp, transitions are smooth (built in Flash), video quality is excellent and a couple of nifty features have been added across all games.

You can enlarge the video stream, choose whether you want dealer audio, and chat to the dealer via an unobtrusive pop-up chat window.  There is also a menu allowing you to load another game rather than having to go back to the lobby first.

This looks a lot more like a platform that has been developed by one of the majors and is a big step forward for CWC.  Now, if they can just relocate to a Euro region licensing jurisdiction, I’m sure they would win over a bunch of players.
