What’s with the Idle-player warning?

I understand the need for an idle player warning and booting inactive players off tables that are full.
Some live blackjack tables are in high demand and full most of the time…especially the low limit tables at high traffic platforms like Evolution Gaming (888.com, Unibet, VC live, Blue Square, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power, Party Casino etc etc). Players wanting to bet shouldn’t be made to wait for ‘players’ just sitting and observing.
But by the same token, I don’t get the need to kick players off tables that are empty. Who are they disrupting?
The above screen grab is a perfect example of what I’m talking about. With four spare seats at the table, I’m hardly in anyone’s way and yet I get a warning that I need to play the next round or be kicked off (as a side note I had actually played 5 of the previous 6 hands so wasn’t exactly being a serial spectator!).
So developers, if you happen to be listening, next platform upgrade have a think about scrapping the idle play feature on empty tables. Or at least giving players seated at table that are far from full a little more leeway in how long they can be seated without placing a bet.
Not the biggest issue going around in the world of live casino gaming, but what the hell…I’ll raise it anyway!
