Bodog88’s new live casino – hits and misses

We’ve had  look at Bodog88’s new live casino and updated the Bodog88 review page to include particulars of the new games.  More detailed reviews of their live baccarat (& dragon tiger) and  live roulette games have also been added.

This is a proprietary offering developed in-house and managed by Bodog88.  They’ve decided they don’t need the HoGaming’s, EntwineTech’s or Playtech’s of this world and are going it alone – although for the time being their HoGaming dealers are still available. Question is, how does this home-grown product stack up against the big developers?

Well I wouldn’t rate it the best live games package out there.  But it certainly ain’t bad.

The negatives:

• casino background track that is possibly the worst elevator music I’ve ever heard;
• smallish video screens…no option to play in full screen mode;
• no dealer chat;
• no blackjack.

While playing this game of live roulette, I am being told that on baccarat tables 1 and 2 the latest hand was won by the Banker, on baccarat table 3 the result was a Tie, over on the sicbo table a 9 was rolled, and on the Dragon Tiger table there’s 14 seconds left to place a bet before the bets close and a new deal starts.

This little display updates constantly letting you know exactly whats going on in every part of the casino at any given time. Mouse over the game icon and more details of what’s going on there are instantly presented.
