A dedicated live casino room for Unibet

Unibet have always been an eager participant in the developing live gambling industry. They were one of the first licensees of Evolution Gaming’s European-facing live casino games served out of Riga. They were one of the first operators to sign up to dedicated blackjack tables, thus increasing the number of seats available to customers at any given time.

Now they’ve taken things up another notch again, adding a dedicated live casino room.

I guess you could think of this as a studio within a studio. It’s still wholly managed by Evolution Gaming and contained within their Riga, Latvia premises. But the games live streamed from this room are available exclusively to customers logged on at Unibet live casino.  Contained within the dedicated room are four blackjack tables and a roulette table – all Unibet branded of course. In fact the whole room (backdrop, flooring, dealer attire) is emblazoned with Unibet’s trademark big green circles.

This is more than just a cosmetic change.  It brings a bunch more blackjack seating space for Unibet customers.  When the regular tables are full (ie those on the main studio floor and available to players logged on at any of the 20 or so other casinos using Evolution Gaming’s live games), as they tend to get during peak hours you’ll have the option of playing the dedicated blackjack tables.

The decision to add a roulette table in the dedicated room is an interesting one, as there are never issues getting on a live roulette table – it’s a ‘one to many’ game that can cater to thousands of players.  Clearly Unibet want to be able to brand a live roulette table as their own, and perhaps have the scope and flexibility to run live roulette specific promotions – here’s hoping the latter was a strong motivation!

House rules for the games are identical to those outside the dedicated room; after all, Evolution Gaming is still the house!
