For higher live blackjack limits go to Jupiter

As a general rule, limits on tables in Playtech’s studio aren’t the highest going around.

Peruse the highest live blackjack, roulette or baccarat max bets and the top of the table is dominated by Evolution Gaming properties while Playtech casinos tend to be near the bottom. Playtech table minimums tend to be lower also.

Unsure as to why this is. Your average Playtech licensee isn’t exactly small fry.

Betfair recently knocked back a $1.4 billion takeover offer; bet365 is one of UK’s largest private companies; William Hill’s current market capitalisation is floating around the £3 billion mark; BetFred operates 1,450 betting shops throughout the UK in addition to their online business; newcomer (to Playtech live dealers) Paddy Power accepted bets worth €5.6 billion in 2012.

These are all businesses that can handle substantial action.

The good news for high rollers who are partial to Playtech’s live games (and dealers), is that it seems bigger limits are on the way.

Jupiter Live Blackjack

The blackjack table pictured above is a new addition to Playtech’s Riga floor. In keeping with their celestial table naming theme it’s called Jupiter Live Blackjack and it is their highest limit blackjack table to date. You can play Jupiter live blackjack at bet365 and limits are £12.50 to £1,250. No doubt other casinos will be offering it to their players in due course with similarly high limits.

This should keep most big fish happy. Those looking for 5-figure maximums however will still need to play at casinos powered by Evolution Gaming.
