Ladbrokes launch new Playtech live dealers

Ladbbrokes new live casino

It’s out with the old (Evolution Gaming) and in with the new (Playtech) for Ladbrokes live casino.

They have now launched their new look live casino which includes a very nice looking private, Ladbrokes branded area on the Playtech floor complete with 5 blackjack tables, 1 roulette and 1 baccarat table. General floor tables are of course also available to players at Laddies.

It’s a development that has been a long time coming. In fact Playetch’s live dealers appeared on the Ladbrokes website mid last year for the briefest of moments before mysteriously disappearing again.

This time, they’re hear to stay. What’s more, the Evolution tables are gone (Ladbrokes players can seek counselling from Paddy Power customers when they went through the same ordeal).

Alas we won’t be seeing another dual Playtech/Evolution offering to rival William Hill. Not for the time being anyway.

What exactly changes

In terms of available games and house rules….not much. If you check the live blackjack house edge page you’ll note no difference in the blackjack house rules between Evolution and Playtech. Rules and payouts for live roulette (European and French) and baccarat are likewise identical. And you’ll still be able to play Casino Hold’em poker at the new casino, if that’s your thing.

The change is largely cosmetic. New floor, new lighting, new dealers, new interface. You’ll miss Evolution’s dealers. But you’ll very quickly find yourself enjoying the company of Playtech’s!

You also won’t need to play with your sunglasses on any more, as the new private room isn’t quite as bright as the old one was.

Say Goodbye to the old….
