In your face Friday the 13th!
So who was too scared to hit the live tables just because of a silly superstition like Friday the 13th?
Not me.
Although I do wish I had been. The title of this post is more a reflection of how I felt before I started playing rather than at day’s end.
Here’s the low-light reel.
When I wasn’t getting dealt 12, 13, or 14 starting hands, the dealer was plucking results like a 20 from a 4 up card.
Net result…about $50 down.
Straight up bets on ‘0’ and ’32’ weren’t bearing any fruit. Eerily however, ’13’ became a hot number.
I jumped on the omen, switching to ‘0’ and ’13’ straight up bets.
So of course next spin the result is…
Net result….about $70 down and in the reload zone.
Now too scared to drop the ’13’ bet for fear that it will come up as soon as I do, I start losing in multiples of 15 rather than 10.
Net result… $75 down
Opened the table just AFTER a ’32’ result, and then pretty much the same story.
Net result… €45 down
The roulette tables in Victor’s Live Casino have been good to me in the past (hence the $800 odd balance).
Not today.
Net result…$60 down.
Overall net result…bread and water for Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th.
Hope Friday 13 was kinder to you.
