Diamond VIP Blackjack

Late last year Evolution Gaming introduced their Blackjack Party table.

Tiny limits (bet behind from £/€ 0.50), lots of banter, available 24/7, and so busy that unless you’re very lucky with timing the only way you get to join the action is by betting behind.

Now they’ve introduced a Diamond VIP Blackjack table. A concept that is polar opposite.

• per hand minimums of  £/€ 1,000 or £/€ 2,000 depending on where you play;
• available evenings only (GMT);
• no bet behind offered, not that you’d need or want to;
• because this will NEVER be a busy table.

But I suspect this is exactly what Evolution Gaming and adopting operators are looking for.

Opinions on the merits of Diamond VIP Blackjack are divided. The need for a table with minimums up to £/€ 2,000, and maximums no higher than those already available on Evolution’s Platinum (grey) and  VIP (red) blackjack tables may be questioned.

The seats at this table will probably be empty for the majority of time it is open. But there are no doubt some players who would relish the idea of a high limit live blackjack table they can have all to themselves.

It serves a niche, and I suspect it will become a permanent fixture.
