Had a play of Playtech's new 'Unlimited live blackjack'. In a nutshell it's a one-to-many live blackjack game - ie there's no limit to the number of players that can play the one table/dealer.

Game rules are the same as the classic 7-seat version (8 decks, BJ pays 3:2, dealer stands hard & soft 17 etc) but there is one exception...see Splits below.

What I liked...

You're always going to get a seat no matter how busy the casino is.
You can play up to 5 hands each deal.
The dealers are very helpful explaining the game and answering any queries you may have
being a one-to-many type game it's quick

What I didn't like...

the Split rule... when you get a pair your options are Split or Fold/Push. You can't hit or stand - and there are plenty of instances where the basic strategy play (http://www.livedealer.org/blog/2010/09/live-blackjack-strategy-card-no-excuse/) is to Hit or Stand on a pair.

It's available now at bet365 (http://www.livedealer.org/casinos/bet365.php), William Hill (http://www.livedealer.org/casinos/williamhill.php), BetFred (http://www.livedealer.org/casinos/betfred.php)

Have a play and see what you think.

Hmm, you are almost right. So the split...
The split option is given only then if the sistem have decided to be the best option for the Player. For example, pair of aces - automatic split, or, if you wish, fold (-20%fee). BUT on pair of tens you will not given the option to split. As in the attachment - only on those orange spots you will be given the split option.

Thanks for clearing that up dealer.

I only played for a half hour or so and was only dealt the pairs that give the split option...so assumed it was for all pairs (should never assume right?)

That changes things considerably.

Are many players playing it?

Not sure which games Harry is referring to but Playtech's Unlimited live blackjack (or any of their other live dealer games for that matter) is not available on iPhone or Android.

Smart Live Casino do have a live roulette game playable on Android 2.2+ (http://www.livedealer.org/forums/showthread.php?2079-Smart-Live-Roulette-now-in-the-Android-market)

SuperCasino have a live roulette app for iPhone

To be honest, not sure that a tiny smart phone screen is how you want to be playing live games
