Just in case you hadn't noticed, at most live casinos you can tip the dealers.
It's a pretty simple thing to do...just pop a chip in the tip slot...or 'Karma Bank' as I like to think if it.

Give a little and the universe pays you back with interest - or so the Dalai Lama says.

But one thing I do wonder, is whether the tips you give online go to:

the dealer you're tipping, or
into a general pool that is then divided according to some kind of casino rule?

In 2006 Wynn Las Vegas instituted a policy that forced their dealers to share 20% of their tips with casino management. Not surprisingly the 700 or so effected dealers got together and and took their boss to court...an appeal decision is still pending on whether this is legal.

Now Caesars Entertainment have decided to do the same thing. So if you throw a $100 chip to the dealer that has looked after you during your session, some of it is going to make its way into the pockets of Caesars' CFO, CIO, CEO etc.

And if any live (online) dealers pop by feel free to let us know whether YOU are getting our donations to the Karma Bank or if you have to share them.

cheers

Oh Ld friend!!, a day your and I spoke of the subject, that she would be well that our friendly dealers clarified the situation to us. A thing is to give it because it is born to us to do it to our friendly dealers and other than goes to the coffers of the casinos. I would want to give so many tips…., but he always cuts that to me to think that they are not for them. I am useful for salute from Barcelona.

We get them all. They are collecting in a virtual money box and we empty it once in month. I love that day!
BUT at the exact moment you tip us, we can not see the amount of it, so sometimes it could sounds strange for you, that we are really thankfull for a dollar...

I know Playtech dealers are strictly forbidden to give out any so called "company secrets" according to your job contract.

So sorry, ... but I really DO NOT believe a dealer gets ALL of their own tips, especially from Playtech.

If a player asks a dealer if get their tips ... Why does a dealer usually answer with the prepared response ...

We get our tips in line with the casino policy

When they could just say....
Yes
