I'm going to sound like a right noob here but who cares......

I am constantly wanting to learn and improve my game, so when i am reading poker books and online info etc, are there certain pieces of info to focus on to help improve my game.

I'm aware of the fundementals of the game (starting hands, position, pot odds etc) but which pieces of info are more important to know first to improve your game, or is it just a matter of time before your game comes together.

I've only been playing online here at PKR for the past couple of months. Live poker i haven't played for a while, but on the whole i've been in the game for about 4/5 years having okay results. I have never given loads of time to my game until recently, it used to be just social, but i'd like it to be more serious.

I'm a patient player and am prepared to grind it out playing microstakes, but I'm ambitious and would like to take my game to the next level, can any of you out there who are successful help me out and offer any advice please.

Hi Malika,

You might have more luck getting a good response to a player v player poker strategy query at one of the big poker forums.

I'd suggest twoplustwo.com (http://www.twoplustwo.com/) . Seems to be the place for all things poker and certainly one of the most active forums.

We're more dedicated to live player v house games...blackjack, roulette, baccarat, sicbo, casino holdem etc

cheers
