Unclefester, from a regulatory point of view, Italy's AAMS would have rules on Italian resident access to online gambling products but they would not care or have any say on what product/service the operators provide to players outside Italy, which is what what we're talking about. I don't think this is a (Italian) regulator imposed restriction. I think it's a platform/operator policy decision. Hopefully your response from William Hill or bet365 sheds more light!

I know 2 of them, but can other members beat that ? .. it's a low target

It was slightly torturous dealing with William Hill, in a series of correspondence this is one reply I got :-

" This is Red from the Support Team.

Thank you for your email, we strive to provide our customers with the best overall gaming experience, and will take this as a learning experience toward improving our service.
We apologize but our Live dealers can only speak and understand English at the moment and we have no information as to when the Italian Language will be available.
Thank you for your continuous patronage towards our casino. "

....... everytime I asked if my request could be passed on to be further considered & it ~ wasn't acknowledged in the reply

All the time I felt they were either been evasive, or had some staff who didn't know left from right !
(you would never guess they are part owned by Playtech

)

Eventualy I went via another route & got this more standard reply :-

" We apologize for the delay in our response and any inconvenience this may have caused you. In relation to your query, right now, we do not have that option yet. However, your feedback and all customers feedback will be taken into consideration "

bet365 played with a much straighter bat & responded to my enquiry almost immediately :-

"Thank you for your email.
At this moment in time I cannot confirm if we will be offering this service, however here at bet365 we continually strive to improve our service for our customers. We appreciate any comments to help us improve and I will pass on the feedback in your email, to the relevant department.

In the meantime I wish you well with your Italian language "

And yes, I realised that bet365 doesn't currently supply Italian speaking tables to Italian players / residents.

But I was kind of hoping to get them to consider offering those tables to non-residents if they may have any future plans, before they were set in concrete so to speak.

It's strange really, because like many other casinos, you can download bet365's software in Italian language & play all the other games, perform account transactions & speak to customer support in Italian, but then they only offer the English Live Dealer tables.

Apparently no other way but to live in Italy... When I found out what was going.... Me too I heard the same in the customer support of bet365

Remember when there were tables in german, russian and italian???... was good... me I would have liked a table in Spanish... Fortunately..., i was speaking english.... (I believe that i defend

I suspect you may get your wish for Spanish tables !

As suggested in the news blog by LD - new-i-gaming-licenses-for-spain-whos-in

This ties in with a recent telephone conversation I had with William Hill where I was told that was the way they were going with localised software & languages.

So if any dealer tells you they are learning Italian, Spanish, Klingon, etc, ... don't be surprised if they suddenly disappear !

(Regarding signatures, as I understand, it's not a matter of number of posts, rather that we are classed as Members, hopefully LD will correct me if wrong. )

I guess, he ment smth else, Unclefester. You are fighting for the Italian tables with such a ardor, that he thought that you are colecting signatures for a petition! Well, who knows, maybe not such a bad idea. Thought, I doubt that the Casino's will pay attention to that, as it's a private business, not national/goverment's...
