Ladbrokes' (Playtech) live dealers now running

Wonder what the reason for the false start was?

Possibly several factors really...

Plans did change at Playtech .... scrapped dedicated areas before they opened, or shortly after.

Maybe not enough dealers to cover a big new dedicated area?

I know Playtech were short on dealers last year... they brought in the experienced Asian dealers which proved not so popular. Had to use Italian dealers on English tables, and dealers working more tables before a break.

Before Christmas someone from Playtech contacted ex Playtech dealers now working at Evolution and asked if they would come back, including one who had left over a year ago.

Ladbrokes new dedicated area at Playtech is now open.

The Playtech live dealer games are under the 'Live Casino' tab.

As expected no dual live dealer platforms ..... Evolution live tables have been removed.

Only the roulette table & blackjack table 3 appears to be open during the night (after Peak shift).

Of course with the swap from Evolution, mobile games have changed also.

Ladbrokes new mobile site is very slick and works well on iPad ... has roulette, regular and unlimited blackjack, & baccarat.

Ladbrokes players will notice a few differences between Playtech and what they were used to at Evolution.

Other than the obvious change of studio, dealers and interface ....

> No live support at tables. Players will have to go through process of contacting their customer support to resolve game issues.

> Speed of game rounds. Evolution dealers are ranked on speed of dealing cards and paid likewise. Whereas Playtech dealer ranking is based on points from compliments, appearance, etc. (keeping players at the table). So Playtech dealers deal slower and try to engage players in chat. It was a complaint among Paddy Power players when they first moved to Playtech how much chat there was and speed of game rounds.

A couple of the Ladbrokes blackjack tables at Evolution are still open with dealers sitting at the tables with no players most of the time.

Maybe they are just 'seeing a contract out', with Ladbrokes channelling all players into the Playtech studio. Possibly only allowing players from countries that Playtech doesn't accept?


The other blackjack table will change to baccarat!
