William Hill hit by cyber attack

Just in case you were experiencing difficulties accessing the Macau, Mayfair or Vegas rooms, or indeed any of William Hill's online products yesterday...it was likely not a connectivity issue at your end. They were hit by a cyber-attack yesterday, affecting a few of their products.

The issue was short lived and they are back to full service today.

A follow up notification received yesterday from William Hill on this...

We have been victims of DDoS activities. Our technical teams have taken action to stabilize our services and betting volumes have returned to normal levels today. There may be still be short term impacts on some customers ability to access certain services as we continue to deal with the DDoS activity.

We thank you for your patience and we hope to return to normal service levels as soon as possible.
