Google Play to accept gambling apps

Real-money gambling apps look set to become available through Google Play.

Thanks to a Google communication to operators, the gist of which being....


'From August 2017, Google will consider applications for gambling apps within the Play store in the UK, Republic of Ireland and France. At a later date this may be expanded to new regions and countries.'

Residents of UK, Ireland and France browsing their respective Google Play stores may now come across the gambling apps from 888, Ladbrokes and Unibet and Sky.

The first wave of accepted apps up and running. No doubt many more waves on their way!
