Evolution Gaming Platinum VIP live blackjack

The Evolution live blackjack table choice is massive.

They house and live-stream tables from dealer studios located in Latvia, Malta, Romania, Georgia, Canada and the United States. Despite the large and growing number of studio locations, game delivery is exceptional and playing interfaces are uniform no matter what table you are playing.

Players may find table limits on Evolution’s general access blackjack tables to be skewed a little to the higher side, and lower limit tables regularly full. But fortunately most of their licensee casinos offer a large selection of low limit private tables as a solution to this.

Additionally, Evolution are constantly expanding their range of available 7 seat tables to make sure all players are catered for. To give you an idea of just how expansive this range is, as at June 2023 you will find in their live lobby:

  • over 200 blackjack tables, including
  • more than 50 VIP limit tables
  • 10 Salon Privé super high roller tables
  • almost 50 speed (deal) blackjack tables
  • over 100 mid-low limit tables

This is just their generic range, accessible by players logged in at any casino. At larger casino brands with private branded tables, you can add another 20 or so tables to the above list.

Finding your preferred table among such a large range is made easier with their smart lobby that allows one click filtering.  For example, you can display tables by seat minimums: 0.50-5, 10-50, 100+ or 1,000+ (Salon Privé).

Key characteristics of Evolution’s blackjack tables are set out below. For a summary of tables from all providers, check our live blackjack page.

Look & Feel

House rules & RTP

Almost all of Evolution’s blackjack tables are classic 7 seat tables, with the same house rules applying.

They have started introducing a range of 1-to-many deal tables, they call their Infinite Blackjack range (details below).

  • Dealer draws 1 face up, 1 face down card on initial deal (ie ‘US Style’ deal)
  • Dealer stand all 17s
  • No double down after split
  • You can double any 2 cards
  • You can’t hit split Aces (ie you will can only draw 1 card to split Aces)
  • Insurance is offered
  • You can’t re-split
  • Side bets offered (Pairs & ’21+3′)
  • You can Bet behind other seated players if you prefer or if table is full

In addition to the regular 7 seat tables, Evolution offer Speed Blackjack tables. Following the initial 2 card deal, players receive their cards on a first to decide, first to be dealt basis.

Same house rules as above.

Infinite Tables (1 deal caters to many players)

Infinite Blackjack

Evolution Gaming introduced Infinite Blackjack, the first in the Infinite series, in October 2018. An unlimited number of players can play the single deal on this table. Now commonly known as a one-to-many deal table.

The main game house rules are the same as for all Evolution Gaming’s 7 seat tables (as outlined above), with one important exception: 6 Card Charlie rule applies.

Under 6 Card Charlie, players win if they draw six cards without going over 21, even if the dealer has Blackjack.

Infinite Blackjack also offers 4 optional side bets as indicated below.

Theoretical return to player rate (assuming optimal play):

  • Blackjack Main Game: 99.47%
  • Any Pair side bet: 95.90%
  • 21+3 side bet: 96.30%
  • Hot 3 side bet: 94.60%
  • Bust It side bet: 94.12%

COMPLETE HOUSE RULES

It offers the same 4 side bets as Infinite Blackjack. But the main game introduces a few novel rules tweaks.

In addition to 6 Card Charlie, the following house rules apply:

  • You are offered Free Double on 9, 10 or 11
  • You are offered Free Split on any pairs except 10s
  • Dealer pushes with a score of 22

After proving quite a popular format, Free Bet Blackjack 7 seat tables have now also been rolled out, with a growing number to choose from.

Our picks for where to play, and why

House rules are identical across all Evolution Gaming blackjack tables offered by all partner casinos. The key considerations therefore become seat availability and limit range (low minimums especially). Beyond this studio ambiance availability/regularity of blackjack table giveaways/promos and presence of VIP hosts add to the playing experience.

With this in mind, it follows that our picks for the best casinos to play are those with the largest private/exclusive blackjack table areas:

Depending on where you live, you may not be able to open an account at these casinos.

Check the live casino summary page for availability, and other Evolution Gaming casinos to play blackjack at.
