Introduction

Three points to note about Super Casino's live blackjack:

  • this is a 'for TV' live game that plays (with respect to game look and feel)  considerably differently to other live blackjack games that seek to replicate a traditional casino experience.  It is presented more like a game show;

  • rules employed are a variation to standard blackjack.  The key rule variation is that player's can not hit on hard 19 or above;

  • multi-hand: you are able to play up to three hands at once.  The dealer deals three player hands but this is not a multi-player table in the traditional sense where each hand is played exclusively by one player.  Each of the three hands dealt may be played (albeit differently) by all participating players.

Single deal, many players

As a game developed for television broadcast to a large viewing/playing audience, the format of this game is slightly different to standard blackjack.  Leaving aside rule variations, the key difference that is readily apparent on playing the game, is that the cards dealt onto the table are played by all participating players. You don't have your own seat and exclusive hand to play.

Logically, you can understand why this is the case.  With potentially hundreds of players playing each hand, it simply not feasible for the presenters to deal every player in turn.  So while you may 'stand' on a given hand, and this decision is represented accordingly on your game graphic, you will notice on the video that additional cards may be dealt to that had on the table - these are for other players hitting/spitting/doubling etc.

Video stream time lag

Playing this game over a reasonable connection speed we experienced considerable freeze framing and deal lag - ie time difference between the actual deal on the video and the corresponding virtual deal presented on the interface graphic.  You can observe this yourself by clicking the below video icon to watch a demo video recording of the game.

Free play

A great feature of this platform is the free play option. However, while free-play is offered at Super Casino, you do still need to go through the process of registering an account before you can play.

Features

- Free play option available post registration;

- Browser play: play from your browser with no download required;

- Time between deals: 2 minutes;

- Time afforded for player bet selection is fast: 15 seconds;

- Bet range: see blackjack limits page.

A tiny video imbedded in a large graphic makes for an interesting presentation that may not appeal to those of you who want to see the actual cards that are dealt.

You are given the option of playing up to three hands per deal.

We experienced a disconcerting deal lag over a moderate internet connection.

Like blackjack at Smart Live, you may notice additional cards dealt to each hand that you did not request.  these are for other players.

Don't worry - your attributed hand is the one you played as presented in the graphic.
