Bodog88, the Asian-facing licensee of online gaming and betting operator
Bodog, is in the process of establishing a new live-dealer casino studio in the
Philippines.
Bodog88's live dealer studio will offer players a range of tables tailored to
specific players and player groups with the ability to choose a favourite
dealer, as well as random bonuses with live concessions.
The operator also plans to host a regular season of celebrity dealers live from
the Manila studio, as well as incorporating a social networking facility to the
offering.
“Gambling in Asia is very different from North America or Europe,” said Robert
Gustafsson, managing director of Bodog88. “In Asia, it’s as much a part of the
culture as having a meal with friends or enjoying some drinks at the pub while
watching a game.
“It’s not as much about the meal or the game but the social aspects and the
enjoyment that go along with it and we plan to accommodate that atmosphere.”
Bodog88 will initially launch a number of Asian games via its live dealer
offering, including baccarat, sic bo, roulette and dragon tiger (a simplified
version of baccarat).
