Playtech's European dealer studio platform

General:

Playtech (www.playtech.com) are one of the true online casino software giants. They formed in 1999 and listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2006. Headquartered in the Isle of Man and with offices around the world, they now boast a staff of just under a thousand personnel, most of whom are dedicated to developing new products. Product range is extensive with RNG casino games, poker, bingo, mobile casino and live games. Historical returns are audited by Technical Systems Testing Inc.

They operate 2 distinct live gaming platforms...one streamed out of Asia and the other streamed out of Europe.

Their European dealer studio was launched at the start of 2009. Already a bunch of prominent licensees have adopted the new platform, and some who were running the Asian platform have migrated across (eg BetFred). It incorporates the existing intuitive game skin and combines it with a high quality video stream from the new dealer room located in Riga, Latvia. The dealers are European and the studio is a definite improvement on the Asian studio in terms of ambience.

Dealer/table range:

Extensive. Although relatively new, the number of available dealers and tables available round the clock here is impressive. Unlike some platforms, this is a true 24/7 offering across all games.

Look and feel:

Outstanding - clean, intuitive and feature packed with great dealer studio ambience, dealer audio and impressive video stream. Recently added full screen mode (below right) allows for crystal clear, large video presentation without loss of any game/interface features.
