Playtech's European dealer studio platform

Playtech (www.playtech.com) are one of the true online casino software giants. They formed in 1999 and listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2006. Headquartered in the Isle of Man and with offices around the world, they now boast a staff of just under a thousand personnel, most of whom are dedicated to developing new products. They operate 2 distinct live gaming platforms...one streamed out of Asia and the other streamed out of Europe.

Their European dealer studio was launched at the start of 2009. Already a bunch of prominent licensees have adopted the new platform, and some who were running the Asian platform have migrated across (eg BetFred). It incorporates the existing intuitive game skin and combines it with a high quality video stream from the new dealer room located in Riga, Latvia. The dealers are European and the studio is a definite improvement on the Asian studio in terms of ambience.

Extensive. Although relatively new, the number of available dealers and tables available round the clock here is impressive. Unlike some platforms, this is a true 24/7 offering across all games.

Look and feel:

Clean, simple and playable with great video quality and studio ambience. Game range is yet to catch up to the older Asian platform but look and feel is undoubtedly an improvement.
