Take 2 on M’gaming blackjack review

We shook off the disappointment of yesterday’s attempted review session for Microgaming’s new live blackjack game and popped along to one of their casinos to have another crack today.

I thought 8 am (at GMT +10) , would be a good time to give it a go.  This corresponds to late evening across Europe…a peak online gambling time and one which should have the new blackjack tables up and firing.

Nup!

Still no available blackjack tables!

Now, by comparison, 10 minutes Playtech’s European dealer studio (as played at William Hill) had 9 different dealers at 9 multi-player blackjack tables with plenty of different limits and spare seats to choose from.   Over at Evolution Gaming’s studio (as played at 888.com), 11 blackjack tables were being streamed.

The clear message is that while Microgaming and their participating licensee casinos technically do have access to blackjack dealt by real dealers online…in practice, this access is still on a limited schedule and  for the time being at least, they are not in the same league as the competition.

I’m sure it won’t take them long to get their act together though…you don’t become the (second) biggest online casino software developer by failing to deliver games that players want to play.

Anyway, stay tuned for the review…as soon as they get a table up we’ll play it!
