New live dealer casino games from Realtime Gaming
Stumbled across a press release today from an RTG (Realtime Gaming) powered online casino heralding the launch of its new live dealer casino games.
“In the biggest addition since the recent launch of its new mobile casino, Grande Vegas Casino is one of the first online casino to offer the new live dealer games from Realtime Gaming”
RTG aren’t newcomers to online casino games. They’ve been around for quite a while and the list of operators using their software is long (if not distinguished). It’s probably fair to say they operate at the murkier end of the online gambling spectrum; progressive jackpot games that seem to rarely (if ever) go off; open door policy for US players; operators based in loosely regulated jurisdictions; you get the idea.
It’s not fair to tar everyone with the same brush and I’m sure there are some RTG powered casinos run completely scrupulous operators. I suspect not all though.
Quality and reputation aside, I was interested to see what their new live dealer games looked like and how they played. This is what I found after opening an account at Grande Vegas.
Live Roulette…hmmm. looks familiar
Live Baccarat…also look s familiar. As does the studio floor.
If you check out HD Live Dealer at 5Dimes Casino you’ll find the same games and studio.
They’re actually powered by Global Gambling Labs.
There are a few takeaways here:
- Despite claims to the contrary, Realtime Gaming don’t have live dealer casino games;
- Realtime Gaming may have done some kind of sub-license deal with GGL, in which case;
- Get ready for a flood of press releases from other RTG casinos trumpeting the launch of their revolutionary new live casino games!
