Bad Beat Jackpot and Loss Rebates

badbeat-cashbackThere are a few nice promos running at the moment worthy of extra mention: two loss rebate offers and a blackjack bad beat jackpot which is something altogether different.

The loss rebates

The first is at Ladbrokes. You get 20% of any losses back, up to £500 (or currency equivalent). This one ends midnight tonight (GMT) so if you if you’re interested you’d better get your skates on. Promo details are here, or go direct to Ladbrokes here.

The second you’ve got more time to have a think about. This one comes courtesy of bet365 who are offering 20% back up to a maximum of £250 (or currency equivalent). This offer runs all day on the 7th and 28th of this month.

I know we’ve seen plenty of loss rebate offers. Indeed bet365’s runs most months.

But after learning that a 20% loss rebate (no limit mind you) was one of the linchpins of Don Johnson’s smashing of Atlantic City’s casinos, any time I see a rebate offer now my eyes widen a little!

Blackjack bad beat jackpot

Haven’t seen anything like this before in live casino land. Not only is it original, it’s also got some big cash on offer.  It’s running all of August in Betfair’s live casino.

Here’s how it works.

First and foremost, you’ll need to be playing live blackjack on their new(ish) VIP blackjack table. You can’t miss it…

Then, if you are dealt an identical suited Blackjack hand to the dealer’s (ie you get suited Blackjack, dealer gets same suited Blackjack) you win a jackpot.

The jackpot started at £10,000 and will be rising £500 every day. If it is won, it resets to £5,000 and continues to rise £500 every day.  If you manage to get the identical suited Blackjack to the dealer 75% of the jackpot at the time  is yours. If some other player manages to hit the jackpot and you played on the VIP table that day, you and all other players who played that day share in 25% of the jackpot.

Basically, just play blackjack as you normally would…and you might get a nice surprise.
