An instant hit from Playtech?

For once Playtech have scored first versus rival platform games (in development) with the launch of Quantum Blackjack.
And it's not all just hyperbole, the Quantum tag (akin to Evolution's Lightning) actually feels a leap!
- What's not to like about the game?
In a nutshell - it's blackjack with multipliers applied to random cards in the shoe. Whereby you can win up to 1000x on ANY winning player hand AND without the need for sidebets OR jackpot contributions.
first look info,

the Quantum table in all its glory,
Attachment 6271
First you place your bets like normal, including optional side bets (21+3 & Perfect Pairs).
Then the Quantum element kicks in as up to 3 cards are selected at random to have multipliers values of 3,5 or 10 applied to them
ie. a winning player hand consisting of a multiplier card value 10 would boost the normal payout from 1x to 10x.
The headline figure of 1000x comes from the having 3 multipliers in the player hand - 10x 10x 10x = 1000 (a maximum of 3 multipliers are applied to winning hands)
Any multipliers are applied to the main hand NOT side bets.
And the Player hand push (rather than win) on dealer bust with 3 cards is the rule variation from regular blackjack that maintains the game's house edge even with the random multipliers applied I guess?
Is that the only variation?
Good to see Playtech on the front foot with new game twist!
Table does look good also

EXCEPT - if the player hand contains a multiplier then it's paid as a win, not a push.
It's a one to many deal using the same virtual cards method used on All Bets Blackjack at Playtech (or Infinite Blackjack at Evolution).
Jumping ahead here..... but at the end of the game the cards are returned into the Auto Shuffler ie. the table doesn't "swallow the cards", they are just shielded/obscured during a game round (to avoid multiple player decisions confusion).

** So you can be sure multiplier cards are in play! **
Here a multiplier of 3x is active,

What to do next?
STAND wanting to be sure of a 3x payout for a win,
or HIT following basic strategy with the possibility of receiving another multiplier card.
I found it does change your playing style, even though you shouldn't....like players splitting a pair of 10's looking for multipliers etc
