Live dealer casino games for iPad

Live dealer games built for iPad play are coming thick and fast now!

Here's a quick and dirty of what's out there now...

Oct 2012: Evolution Gaming launch live roulette for iPad. Live blackjack and baccarat for iPad promised to follow in coming months.
Nov 2012: Blue Square first to offer EG's iPad live roulette
Jan 2013: Betvictor, William Hill (Vegas), 888, Ladbrokes, Blue Square all now offer EG's live roulette for iPad
Jan 2013: 888 Casino Games iPad App is added to App Store (UK only). It includes EG's live roulette
Feb 2013: bet365 Live Casino App for iPad & iPhone, with Playtech live dealers gets added to the App store (for UK residents)


No doubt missed a few from this list (feel free to add!), but I think the key takeaway is that it's pretty clear that by the end of this year, most of the major online casinos will have live dealer games purpose built for play on your iPad.

There might be a line in there somewhere about fingerprints on favorite dealers... :o

This week I acquired my first Apple product ..... no not the edible type, and other fruits such as Blackberries do exist !

With the ever-growing number of casino games for iPad it seemed now was as good a time as ever to join the community.

First impressions of my iPad mini are that it's a really nice piece of technology ... considerably lighter in weight than my current Android tablet, more responsive, and its 7.9inch screen is much less cramped than 7inch tablets.

I will be trying out all these new live dealer apps.

Over the next few weeks I will post my experiences & screenshots - once I get the knack of taking a screenshot with the on/off button without going into sleep mode.

Nice one Fester. Very addictive little toys! I haven't bought a newspaper since having one.

I've put together a little summary iPad games summary here, for others among you who are iPad users.

No doubt this will change quickly in coming months (already Evolution Gaming are suggesting on their website that blackjack and baccarat are good to go...just a matter of casino adoption)

Basically all the regular roulette tables at Evolution are available on the mobile versions of the casino sites for iPad users.

Just their names are slightly changed.

I haven't seen French roulette yet though.

£500,000 max !!!

Yes indeed .... £500,000 max on roulette at WH-Evolution!

A few more zero's than the max of £400 for me at Playtech roulette tables with the same William Hill account.

Always struck me such a big difference.

Even stranger that Playtech dealers are not allowed to mention numbers or colours at the table. If you had to guess you would think it would be the Evolution dealers with stricter rules on tables with such high limits ... but not so :confused:

When you visit 888 on an iPad you don't seem to be able to play at the casino on a mobile version of the casino site. Instead you are directed to download their App. No worries though because the App works great.

When you've downloaded the App you basically have a mini version of the casino site with a few games to choose from besides the live roulette option (more live games to come apparently)

The other casino games are played in landscape view and it seems that 888 decided that you will want to play live roulette like this also.

All the same 888 live roulette tables are available as when you vist on a pc.

What impressed me was the quality of the live video. Yes it freezes momentary, but this was no big problem and I could hear what the dealers were saying.

If your broadband is too slow you have the same Evolution options to lower the video quality, or turn it off.

888 App

Paddy Power now have a live casino App in the App Store now for iPad / iPhone / iPod.

It looks the same App as bet365 and Betfred, with the two main Playtech roulette tables.

Again for me this Playtech App refuses to open the tables citing "video streaming timeout"

A few more Evolution (EG) casinos have recently added live dealer games to mobile sites and released iPad Apps ...


April 2013: SkyVegas mobile site and App (UK) with roulette, blackjack and baccarat

May 2013: sportingbet mobile site and App (UK) with roulette, blackjack and baccarat

Grosvenor Casinos have also just released an iPad App (UK), to complement their existing mobile site.

Only roulette and blackjack is currently available (site & App)
