Craps Live is Live!

The much anticipated Craps Live from Evolution is now taking bets (from today at Leo Vegas, others sure to add in coming days/weeks)

Been waiting a long time for this one. A very popular game on the floor of bricks and mortar casinos in the US especially, craps has taken a long time to transition to live dealer format. Understandable I guess, given the fact that in the game of craps players ('the Shooter') usually launch the dice.

With live dealer games played remotely, this aspect of the game does present a challenge.

Anyway, the challenge has been solved.

With a dice launching contraption of course! Does the job of the Shooter just nicely.

I'll get more up on the nuts and bolts of how to play Craps Live in due course (ie after I learn to play craps...never played!), but in the meantime just wanted to post that the game was now live (because the PR from Evo will come out in a few weeks time) and share a few pics.

As a lead in, and for other Craps newbies like me, Evolution do their usual nice job of holding your hand pre game launch with a quick fire tutorial of the bets, should you need it...

And the dice launch contraption...or The Flinger as I like to call it (sure it has a proper name).

It gets manually loaded by the dealer. Yes, they have an active role in this game. Loading the flinger primarily it seems, as well as providing commentary and bet explanation to players.

By the way, Evolution have also added to the First Person RNG game range with First Person Craps.

Nothing exciting here...100% computer generated imagery and outcomes. RNG Craps tables have been operating online for 2 decades now.

The one notable difference on this table to other online craps games ... the GO LIVE button which switches you over to the live dealer version of the game when you want real dice.

First Person Craps came out around the same time as the live dealer version. Actually noticed it before the live dealer version, and for a brief moment thought this was Evolution's long awaited craps offering! It was with much relief that I realised the live dealer version was also available.
