Just announced today, the mega acquisition of Sky Betting & Gaming (SKB) by Stars Group (owners of the Pokerstars and FullTilt brands.
Stars Group will buy SKB from current owners CVC Capital Partners and Sky plc in a cash and stock deal worth $4.7 billion ($3.6 billion cash, remainder shares). The deal is expected to be completed by Q3 this year.
GVC aren't the only ones out there buying up large operators!
You can just imagine the dismay at Playtech facing the possibility of another set of live tables (Sky Casino) returning to Evolution.

I don' t really play much at either (never at Sky) so not fussed what they do :)
