Yes, they have a free choise to move back, if they want. Why should they? Working on Italian tables is an opportunity and not a punishment or smth... It's like moving on, why should they step back?

Sorry, but 'to take' = to move, to pick up, to get into one's possession by voluntary action.
It's not the same as to force, steal, punish etc.
So they were really taken / moved / picked from English tables, & not NEW hired staff like Evolution's approach.

because they miss Unclefester! :D
Thanks, I'll take that light heartedly :D
Otherwise I might be offended. :(
Italian tables are a personal challenge.
A dealer once told told me that she didn't think I was a quitter & she expected to see me one day at her table, even if that meant me moving to Italy.
Those dealers really know how to 'pull the strings' of players!
It's not an opportunity /promotion /reward that just longer serving dealers were given, some of the newest dealers moved!
Yes I know they got to learn another language ! (a rather hastily 3 months for the 'second wave' of dealers)
Working on the same few tables, with often no players at William Hill BJ, & your own few personal (maniac) players. :D
In reality the Italian dealers get paid more ..... money talks as they say!
I wonder what happens if they have plenty of Italian dealers & stop paying them extra
You must admit, It seems strange that a company like Playtech would spend time & money training dealers in Italian, hire new English speaking dealers. Then say to the Italian dealers "yes you have a free choice to move back to English tables".
What would they do if the majority suddenly said they wanted to go back to English tables?
The 'second wave' of dealers I spoke to seemed to know very little about what would be their situation once they moved to Italian tables. They thought they would spend some time on Italian tables & other times at English tables. I told them that the other Italian dealers hadn't returned to English tables, etc.
I still believe once they got dealers taught in Italian & hired new English dealers Playtech had no intention of allowing dealers to move back to English tables ... "Why should they..?"
Of course the odd one may move back who Playtech feels is struggling, like dealers get taken off VIP tables for mistakes.
I assume Italian dealers have to agree to work on the Italian tables for like a year+, otherwise pay for the course fees.
It's a while since I wrote on this subject ... meanwhile other Playtech dealers have left, moved to Italian tables, etc.
2013 - a new year and more familiar dealer faces will disappear from table lists.
Attachment 967 ... Esmira has now moved to work on Italian tables
Attachment 968 Attachment 969 ... Kerija is leaving Playtech
Several other long serving dealers have or will be changing job positions.
Kerija has now left.
Seems to be a lot of dealer changes happening
Attachment 976 ... Hanna has also left.
well, change is good, ppl are moving on, a new year, new lives, etc :) it's all for the best! :)
Totally agree with you, Another Dealer. Anyway, being Dealer usually is not a career choice for the rest of the life. At least, not in Latvia and not in online Casinos as working there means all the time being in front of camera, accordingly good-looking is quite important and wrinkles are still not pleasant for the eyes of most people of the World (though totally disagree with this). Although in UK, Monte Carlo, LasVegas the Croupiers are mostly 30 and older and that's totally normal, we all know that in online Casinos (by the way - also in real Casinos at Latvia) the Dealers usually are not older than ~ 27...
I'm not sure Playtech thinks all change is good.Quote:

They don't seem to like dealers telling players they will be moving to work on Italian tables, or no longer working as a dealer.
