The takeovers keep coming

Hot the heals of 888's purchase of William Hill, this week Aristocrat Leisure has made an offer to buy Playtec.

Playtech's board have unanimously recommended the deal to shareholders (at a 60% premium to pre-offer share price they should!). Large shareholders are already on board so it seems the deal is all but done.

Also still bubbling away is the potential for the mega takeover of Entain by DraftKings. Entain (Bwin, PartyCasino, Gala, Coral, Ladbrokes, Sportingbet, BetMGM, Borgata....) are currently considering a $22.5 billion (£16.4 billion) offer.
