The sky above Bet365 is looking blue and cloud free at the moment, having posted gross profit of £2.45bn ($3.13bn) for the last financial year. Operating profit grew by more than £100m, with Bet365 reporting £660.3m for the year.


More headline grabbing in the UK was the news that co-founder Denise Coates, has received another pay rise making her the UK’s highest paid boss, taking home £265m a year, including dividends. That's £48m higher than the total she received last year as online gambling continued to grow.


One cloud on the horizon might be the increasing criticism the industry is facing for not doing enough to deal with problem gambling and addiction.




Just imagine what she could do with £265m ..... how about take over a live dealer provider, then get to keep all the dealer tips without sharing them between casino and platform operator, ka-ching :p
