I'd suggest you stay away from horizon
I lost 8 blackjack hands in a row! What are the odds of that? It is crazy; these guys are scammers without shame. When I denounced the impossible, they said it is normal; can you believe that?

I'm so angry, I lost over $4000 on those hands!
Isn't there a government authority I can complain to?
I'm freaking the fuck out, if my wife finds out I lost that money; I'm toast!
I have filed a dispute with my bank... I just can't take those charges, and it is rediculous, it is almost impossible to get 8 straight losses on blackjack
The last time my wife caught me gambling, she threated a divorse... I don't think she will threaten this time, and she will find out if there is 4k messing
Hi Angry.
To state the obvious, it does depend on how you played those hands.Quote:

I am sorry to hear about your loss and the predicament it has put you in.
Regarding your question on a government authority you can complain to...I think Bethorizon are based in Costa Rica where avenues for dispute resolution are pretty much non-existent. But I would think that even if they were licensed & regulated by an authority like the UK Gambling Commission, an 8 hand losing streak in blackjack isn't an incident that would lead to any kind of intervention.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Your situation is another reminder of that golden rule of gambling....only ever play with what you can afford to lose (or at least what your wife will never find out about!)
Hi LD, thanks, I'm just so stressed right now... it all seems unreal
I know I gambled too much. I'm starting to feel I might gamble ttoo much
do you think my wife might understand more if I got help?
I'm also really not sure if their live casino is legit... the shuffling of the cards was done off cammera
and I didn't start to loose until after they changed decks... it was really fishy
Angry I don't know your wife so can't answer this. But regardless of how she feels on the matter, it sounds like getting some help would be a step in the right direction.
As to who you speak to...I have no idea. Perhaps start with a Google search for 'problem gambling help [insert your country]'
Hi angry!!! If I may, I recommend you visit sportsbookreview.com
Orient you there!!!, are dedicated to helping players with disputes of all kinds, had no recollection bethorizon good reputation, they will orient..., even if it is you might say that casinos do. Contact them directly to the site in dispute.
Well Angry... I read your case and you can certainly lose 8 hands in a row... I thought it was another thing.
Still there this page if you need it.
Of course it is all random, and there was nothing scammed. How do you immagine they did that? They knew what decitions you will take at every hand and putted the cards in the boxes accordingly? Come on! And as you and only you decided to play (I believe nobody forced or begged you to do that), you had to be ready to the possibility that the cards can be also bad, not only perfect for your seat.
It is not Casino's fault that you play. It is not correct to denigrate a particular Casino, because you lost 8 hands in row. That is possible. Your reaction is weird. I guess you really should search for some help as soon as possible, as already the guys here suggested you.
On one of my many, many chats with Bethorizon.com... they told me that they don't own the software; they get it from livecasinolicensing.com/
So I visited them and called them to ask for an explanation; and they couldn't give it to me! I say they are the scammers. Worse, when I called, they said that they just give software. WFT, so tehey give it to people so they can scam?
I'm never gambling online again!
and my wife has found out, but I told her I will stop, she has been craying for al ong time now... and I have bene too
her mother called me and started screaming at me, told me I hvae no soul and that I don't care about the kdis; but that is not tue; I lvoe them very much
I found this site; fraudvictimlawyer.com do you think they can help? I just need some help.
angryguy... I sympathize with you, I have had some big losses in the past, I guess most players have. And we all think just one more bet to win it back.
Your concern is with the shuffling / dealing so you can't really blame the software whoever owns it.
But I think most people here are suggesting you try get some help with your gambling if you feel it is out of control.
So I'm not sure you want to go down the 'fraudvictimlawyer.com' route, but that is your choice.
I'd go a step further here and say that I am sure you DON'T want to go down this route. Getting lawyers involved (especially someone you've found on the internet and know nothing about) could make your $4k loss look cheap.
I also don't believe you have recourse here. It's simply a case of gambling and losing. If you had won 8 hands in a row would you expect the casino to get upset and not pay you? (Now there you'd have a case!)
I know how you feel...I took a very big punt a few years back at a casino of a different kind (sharemarket) and lost significantly more than you have. I felt sick and angry and wanted to blame others for the loss but eventually realized that getting bogged down in self-pity and the blame game only makes the situation worse. You just have to learn from your mistakes and move on.
Thanks for the interventión dealer, yes!!! its random, I knew of one who lost like 13 or 15 in a row :o :o jajajajajaja.... good thing is that chips were only 10 euros :p :p
I wish you better times "angry", there is no better game than life and not worth reducing it by the blackjack.
Cheers.
Jeeeeeez angry guy............Iv'e played in a casino.......land based, shoe not shuffler and lost 22 out of 23 hands.....S$$$ happens.
