& no doubt hoping to attract new players to the game of baccarat complete with bells and whistles extra bets/payouts.
Selecting a bet type (left panel) opens the betting panel.
The types of bet available consist of Main Bets, Suits & Colors, Totals and Egalite.
The familiar Main Bets = Player, Banker, Tie, Banker/Player Pair, Perfect Pair, Either Pair, Big & Small

Suits & Colors bets are self-explanatory,

- More Black,
- Black = Red (wins when equal number of red and black cards among all those drawn)
- All Cards Same Suit,
- Player/Banker Cards Same Suit

Totals bets,
- Player Even = wins when player result/total is an even number
- Player Odd = wins when player result is an odd number
- Banker Even
- Banker Odd
- Player + Banker Even = wins when the sum of Player and Banker results is an even number
- Player + Banker Odd = wins when the sum of Player and Banker results is an odd number
- Player + Banker <10 = wins when sum of Player and Banker scores is less than 10
- Player + Banker >9 = wins when sum of Player and Banker scores is more than 9

The Egalite specific value Tie bets made their first appearance half a decade ago at Playtech's old studio tables.

Thanks for that Fester. Look forward to having a play.
Is it like Betgames' Bet on Baccarat in that:
- payouts for the various bet types auto-recalculate during the course of the deal, and
- you have multiple opportunities to place bets ('in-play') during the course of the deal ?
Short answer LD is no .....
Looks like there's more 'Bet On' tables on the way. Bet On Poker for one.
Also, there's a new Bet On category in the Playtech lobby at some casinos...

Right, so just the one opportunity to get your bets on - before the deal starts.Quote:

And just the one payout for each of the various bet types. No need for recalculations during the deal?
Makes for a faster deal (and arguably less confusion) I guess.
With an RTP 96-97%, the odds/payouts for the Main Bets must be significantly worse than payouts on the regular Baccarat tables (which have a theoretical return close to 99% for Banker or Player bets).
eg. Main Bet, Player would be less than the even money you get on a regular baccarat table.
Which begs the question, other than having a desire to place different baccarat bets (Suits & Colors or Totals), why would you play this table?
Actually not so.Quote:

In a 'regular' baccarat game,
- a winning Player bet pays even money (2x),
- a winning Banker bet pays 0.95 to 1 (1.95x)
As you can see below, the payouts for these bets are actually higher on Bet On Baccarat.

With same win conditions, 3rd card rules etc, at first glance this would suggest this game should have a higher RTP. Yet is doesn't.
The bigger house edge is produced from a slight but crucial rule change that Fester highlighted above...
On the regular baccarat tables, Banker and Player bets push in the case of a TieQuote:

Cheers LD for the vid of recorded hands & BetOn blog.
A couple more details to add (now I've finally got back to the thread ),
... you find the same Playtech table at casino's without Bet On tables under a different moniker, with the more familiar limited betting options, normal payouts & no lose on Tie.

Playtech haven't actually specified the payouts in the help section and just refer you to your service provider. So in essence the casinos have the option of setting these to their preference, akin to when certain Evolution casinos raised the Tie payout.
>> If you like a flutter on Tie note how the payout is higher on this table than elsewhere! <<
Attachment 6973 ... Tie odds here of 10.26
..but its not just that casinos could potentially offer different payouts,
>> the odds/payouts for the various bets do recalculate during the course of a shoe (just not during the deal).
eg. same casino a little later than above, different shoe (approx same number of cards spent), Tie now pays 10.37, etc.

Interesting. Wonder if they will vary significantly from one casino to the next?Quote:
