Evolution are now using a card shuffling machine at the regular Casino Hold'em table.

Previously the dealer shuffled the cards every betting round (local rivals Playtech use a shuffler).

Wonder if they'll stick with the manual shuffle on the BJ tables?

I also noticed Shufflemaster on one of the VIP Blackjack tables. I hope they are not going to introduce these machines on all tables. This would be seriously bad news for any player who cares about getting a fair game.
I'm with you Ivar...prefer an old school depleting shoe and manual shuffle. Or at the very least a deal from a shoe.
I don't believe Shufflemaster's aren't fair...but a deal from a auto-reshuffled deck/shoe every hand is a move in the direction of what RNG games offer.
Live game developers/operators should be looking to distance their offering from RNG as much as possible. Particularly on VIP tables.
Out of interest was the table you're referring to a private table? If so which casino?

Unless Viktorija has developed some crazy shuffling skills and now goes by the name the Shuffle Master :D
Shuffle Master was in use when I looked today at VIP table B.
Cards were dealt from shoe as normal procedure.
On Casino Hold'em it works great, saving the dealer from shuffling after every hand.Quote:

Casino Hold'em table had a cover over the machine and was not in use.

When they said yes (or regardless what they said) you'd throw the deck at them ...cards would fly everywhere, and then you tell them to go ahead and pick them up.
