bet365 versus 888 (iPad live game Apps)

So how do 888 and bet365's Apps compare ?


888 App - Evolution studio

- all the casino games are within one location
- all 888's live roulette tables available
- small live video screen during betting rounds
- video and sound quality was good .... with options to alter video quality
- it worked on slowish broadband :)


365 App - Playtech ELT studio

- no other casino games ... you need to visit 365's mobile site to play other games (info about mobile casino sites here)

- only the 2 main Playtech roulette tables (not even bet365's dedicated table)
... curiously if you visit the mobile site a dedicated mobile roulette table is available

- larger live video in betting rounds

- when it worked video quality was medium on my connection (even at the better looking mobile roulette sound often breaks up)

- rarely worked on slowish broadband ... App refused to open tables :(

For me ...... 888 was a clear winner !

The 888 App always opens the live roulette tables, whereas the bet365 App often refuses to let me join the tables because of "video streaming timeout".

For players with faster broadband the comparision should (in theory) be less obvious.
