Regrettably, Genting Malta Limited (T/A GentingBet) has taken the decision to close all licensed operations with effect from 23 August 2021. Genting Malta Limited (T/A GentingBet) will cease trading its sportsbook on 16 August and its online casino on 23 August 2021.

You wouldn't know it visiting their live casino page, still promising promotions on the way.

Also a bit surprising with how much these guys have invested in the live casino - many in-casino tables, the group's purchase of Authentic Gaming etc

Perhaps the online casino (and sportsbook) will begin re-trading under a new license down the track?

Obviously it’s a decision encompassing all Genting’s European/Malta licensed operations.

But certainly the dedicated live casino tables never seem to take off. Always so few players whenever I visited. The private poker and baccarat tables were dropped quite a while back, and no Crockfords tables.

Perhaps the online casino (and sportsbook) will begin re-trading under a new license down the track?
