Good game this one. For those who can't be bothered reading the post, the super quick and dirty...

Every round you win earns multiplied payouts for a win on the following round, up to 25x

Looks like pretty much every Evo casino has added it to their lineup.

    Big theoretical RTP...99.5%

As they tend to do, Evolution have announced the launch of Lightning Blackjack a couple of weeks after the actual launch.

In todays release, titled EVOLUTION LAUNCHES ELECTRIFYING LIGHTNING BLACKJACK, Todd Haushalter had the following to say.
“It’s high time that we brought our Lightning brand to the player favourite Blackjack. We’ve been very careful to preserve the true essence of Blackjack, while adding extra layers of excitement with added Lightning multipliers. The end result is a beautiful game that gives players the opportunity to have enhanced payouts whilst still playing the game the way it was originally intended – and I think players are going to love it!”
Possibly more electrifying news was Evolution's 10% share price drop following accusations they are operating in prohibited markets such as Iran and Syria (declared so by the US).

No great news to anyone who has watched the industry over the last 20 years or so. Standard operating procedure from the majors has generally been to operate in grey markets until an unambiguous regulatory regime is put place then either pull out or participate. What is grey, dark grey or even black seems to be a question that operators' legal teams have never interpreted consistently.
