    how would you feel?

...you're playing 3 seats on a VIP blackjack table. You get VERY aggressive with a $5k bet ON EACH HAND.

You then get dealt the following on your three hands...

    hand 1 - 13
    hand 2 - 13
    hand 3 - 15

    to the dealer's Ace up-card!

I know how I'd feel...like throwing my laptop out the window!

Not this player. After losing 15K on this deal, he/she continued on - and had some more big losses and plenty of big wins (including a $25k collect after hitting blackjack on one hand and winning both split plays on another hand). I watched with intrigue for 30 minutes or so as moraya bet between 5k and 20k per deal, playing 1 to 3 hands each round.

    Amazing stuff!

I guess it's all relative right. I mean people said Michael Jordan had a gambling problem when he lost $100k (or something like that) playing blackjack. That's the equivalent of me losing 20cents...considering our respective net-worths

There are some people on this earth with more money than they know what to do with...maybe 5k is loose change to Moraya. Then and again, maybe he/she has sold the house and let it all ride like that guy once did on one spin in roulette at Vegas (in which case he'd be sweating bullets in this game)

    I suppose we'll never know

Speaking about the feelings... Have you ever thought, what the dealer feels in this situation? I assume that every dealer more or less follows the results, and believe me it's annoying to see those 13's, 14's and 15's hand by hand and the only thing you can really do, is to wish better luck, thought it sounds quite silly anyway. Especially, if there is some nice guy, with whom I am having an enyojable and deep conversation, but he is loosing constantly, it is itching deep there in my soul, tho I can not even see the bets. But anyway, we are dealers and dealing is our job, thinking and feeling is just additional skill, which is even good to switch off.

By the way, I don't know if those Casinos, which are using Evolution Platform, have the same option, but for Playtech powered Casinos there is the option to hide the bets from other Players. Wouldn't it be much better and comfortable to do like that? Or a guy, who can afford to bet $5k, don't even care?

Personally I feel pretty anonymous sitting at a computer rather than at the actual table, so having my chips on the (virtual) table for all to see doesn't bother me (actually doesn't bother me at a traditional casino either). It just reminds me of how much of a low-roller I am when I'm betting $25 and the dude next to me is betting $500 or more

Dealer, that's an interesting point you make about you guys not seeing the bets. So you only know if a player wins or loses and NOT how much was staked on that hand?

So I guess you are pretty self-confident or smth. I have visited traditional Casino as well, and I didn't liked how does my ~10$ looked next to anothers ~25$, but propabbly I am always the only person at the building caring about that and mostly because deep in my heart I am the Dealer so I don't like to take the risk on me and my money. I love to deal.

And speaking about the bets - of course, we don't see them. Ok, on BJ tables there are 7 Players maximum, but on the Roulette and Baccarat - much, much more. It would be really ridiculous for us to see all those chip-towers on the table. That's why it's a bit funny, when some Player-newby is begging for one exact number, thought I don't see his bets and I can not do that phisically as well. I mean, I am not so good in spinning, to spin exact number out of 37, and sometimes one guy is asking for 8, second for voison, third for 6 and so on...
