Betfair admits to stolen customer data

    This isn't great news.

Customer data including usernames and credit card details stolen from Betfair after cyber attack 18 months ago.
Betfair are just coming clean with the details now...

their director of group security is now resigning....claimed by betfair to be unrelated to the controversy, but the timing speaks for itself. He joins a number of recent departures from the security department.

    Interesting quote...

One Betfair insider said that the departures meant that "almost all the senior security specialists who knew the systems best have now left"
