This is BIG: 1 to 31 December

bet365 are running the mother of all promo's in December - the "12 Levels of Christmas"

All wagers on any of their real money games (yes live casino games are in play) during December (00:00 GMT on 1st December until 23:59 GMT on 31st December 2011) earn comp points.

But this isn't your usual wager comp.

You're not competing against other players. Instead you're shooting for pre-defined levels to aim for...each with a different prize as follows:

Yes you read correctly...reach level 12 and you get your choice of a spanking new Range Rover Vogue SE, Jaguar XK Convertible or Porsche 911.

Simply hit the level and that prize is yours.

What's more, all players progressing past level 3 go in the draw for an Audi TT (which they'll get in addition to the level prize they qualify for!)

If you don't want the prize, you can opt for cash instead...

A promo of this size comes with plenty of terms...for instance:
    • if I get the trip is it just for me, or can I take a friend? [you can take a friend by the way], and
    • if I win the cars but don't live in the UK what happens [free delivery in UK, outside UK you pick up the tab...or take the cash alternative]
Point being...read the terms so you know exactly what you're playing for!

Most important term of all is that YOU MUST OPT-IN FOR YOUR BETS TO COUNT!

    hi LD,

Is it get to a level and get the prize, or get to a level and go into a draw for the prize?

For example if i get to level 9 is a mini cooper convertible definitely mine?

    thanks

    Hi Kanja,

It's very simple...hit the level and the prize is yours. No draw, no hoops, no catches (other than paying delivery if you're outside the UK!).

I think this is a very generous promo, and here's why...taking your Mini Cooper level as an example.
    • USD 1,600,000 will get you there;
    • Playing blackjack in their live casino, house edge is just over 0.5% if you play basic strategy
    • Assuming you play optimally, mathematically expected, loss for turnover of $1,600,000 is $8,000 (of course you could lose more, or win depending on luck)
    • Playing baccarat in their live casino (banker bets) and the house edge is around 1%
    • Mathematically expected loss for optimal play (which is pretty easy) is $16,000
Either way ($8,000 or $16,000) is far less than the retail price for a new Mini Cooper S.

If you're entering this promo purely to snag one of the prizes, the maths gods say you're likely to get bargain.

If you're a high turnover player just looking for a good place to bet regardless of promotional offers, then the promise of prizes like this, win or lose, is a massive bonus.

hmmmmmm so I need to bet £3m to get a Porsche 911 GTS

Applying your logic if I bet banker baccarat then house is expected to take around £30k - and I get the Porsche. I could lose more. I could also win

tempting...if I had that kind of cash to splash. Trouble is the wife would take the car if I won it anyway.

    It could be so simple if 1 $ wagered = 1 point. But unfortunately 10 $ = 1 point.

    Hi bvgaria.

What currency are you referring to? Mexican peso targets are 10x USD, AUD, CAD but that's just an exchange rate issue.

I couldn't find anything in the terms and conditions saying $10 = 1 point.

Which clause (1 to 22) are you getting that from??

    cheers

    Hi bvlgari,

I think you may have misunderstood - your above link is to a different promo.
Here are the required bet amounts needed (in a range of currencies including EUR) for each level in their 12 Levels Christmas promo...

Yes, these are the necessary comp points.

    But look at Bet 365:

    Comp Points
As soon as you join the Casino at bet365 and start playing any of our extensive range of games in real mode you will earn ‘Comp Points’ for every bet you make, win or lose!

Each game qualifies you for a different number of points - the chart below tells you how many points you can earn for each game per 10 currency units wagered. Every 100 points you accumulate can be converted to 1 currency unit in real money for you to use as you wish.

For example, wager a total of £1,000 playing Slot Games and earn 300 Comp Points! The more you wager the more you will earn as a reward for playing in the Casino at bet365.

    Hi bvlgari,

Just been chatting with bet365 support and it looks like you're correct...the general 'Comp Points' conversion rules will need to be applied to the Comp Points referred to in the 12 Levels of Christmas

ie for blackjack and baccarat and roulette, 1 Comp Point = 10 currency units.

Getting confirmation from bet365 management, just to be sure.

thanks, and great pickup (however disappointing )
