If you play live quite a bit you'll know that most dealers (unless they're engaged in player conversation) tend to commentate a bit on the deal as they're dealing. Pretty standard stuff...like asking players whether they would like to hit, congratulating players who get good cards etc.
What I've also noticed, is that some dealers commentary tends toward coaching or giving tips on the correct play. Comments like:
'perhaps you want to double down on those cards' or 'maybe you should consider splitting there'
It's probably not intentional - they know the correct play and those thoughts become words. Worth listening out for though...particularly if you're learning the game.
