Playtech reveals Spanish live dealer plans

No surprises here, just confirmation in a news release that live dealer games tailored to Spanish players are on their way following the issuing of gaming licenses last month.

No doubt some of our favorite Playtech live dealers are brushing up on or learning Spanish as we speak!

Knowing Playtech's track record in trying to hide information from players this news doesn't surprise me AT ALL.

I noted when 'The Dealer' made this comment on 22 June .. she made the point of saying "at the moment".

I thought ... yes, but given how quickly the 'second wave' of Italian dealers were hastily taught Italian in 3 months. Dealers I talked to thought they would be learning it for several months.

Although when you read the press release ...

The Playtech casino offering includes a unique, Spanish-specific live casino option, provided from a local licensed land-based casino located within Spain.
It reads as if Playtech is opening a new studio facility in Spain?

If so, this is maybe good news for English Players as Playtech may hire new Spanish dealers from Spain?
& not transfer many popular dealers overnight without any explanation

They've probably run out of floor space in their Riga Studio! .. I can't believe they have learnt from past mistakes as they always seem to have their heads stuck in the sand

The release reads more like the stream may come out of an existing terrestrial casino (ala Vuetec live games ) rather than a purpose built studio.

If I were a betting man, I'd have my money on Casino Gran Madrid

They've been working with Playtech for a while now.

    Don't worry !! .....

As far as I am aware not all casino sites, e.g Eurogrand, VegasRed, Casino tropez etc, etc. ... that use the Playtech studio will be offering Spanish tables from this 'terrestrial casino'.

Just like they don't offer Italian tables, even if you select Italian as your preferred language when setting up the software.

Interestingly, as an English player I am allowed to join William Hill's Spanish site , but not their Italian site
(Yes I know .... because of the different regulations in force in different countries. I once read there was some plan .. to in future 'harmonize' gambling regulations across Europe, but I'm not holding my breath.)

Now danger playtech studying in Madrid, because under the new law of the game lists the "game live" and highly addictive .... see what happens.
    Cheers.

I really hope this Spanish local land-based casino approach is a BIG BIG success for Playtech.

Maybe then they may decide to scrap/remove their few Italian tables in the Riga studio & use an Italian casino in Italy with REAL Italian dealers for Italian players?

It would then be interesting to see if any of the dealers who moved from English tables to Italian tables because they are so in love with all things Italian, and not just the extra money they get paid on those tables actually relocated to Italy

That is, if any 'secret' boyfriends etc. allowed them to move!

Oh, come on! Stop misinforming people, just because you are still angry. It is not officially stated, but I really doubt that the Italian tables will ever been removed of Riga Playtech floor. They popularity is raising by hours. Let's say, if the tables will be removed, I would eat my hat or smth...

And nobody is told to say that they are single. What a nonsense. Yes, it not allowed to say if you are married or not, but it is up to you to disclose, if you are meeting with somebody or not.
