I've seen Walter in several TV programmes etc.

A couple of times briefly in The Big Bang Theory. Most recently in series 6 episode #16, where Rajesh and Stuart throw a party for their single friends on Valentine's day. Walter is sitting at a table in the comic book store .... looks like Bar Refaeli dumped him !
