Betfair are now promoting the fact that you can book a private blackjack table.

The option has 'unofficially' existed before to VIP players at some casinos at Playtech.

But now Betfair has gone a step further. When you visit the live casino a banner alongside the table selection window highlights that players can book a private table.

To book a private blackjack table you have to send an email to Betfair - ([email protected].)

With details of your username, date of booking, start and end time, & how you wish to be contacted to confirm booking.

All private bookings take place in the Betfair dedicated area.

Bookings can be extended provided 15 minutes’ notice is given via chat to the dealer.

With a private table you play at the table with no other players involved.

Other benefits of a private table are:

    • You can play from 1 to 5 boxes

    • Deal on demand. There is no need to wait for the betting timer to reach zero – a new 'DEAL' button appears.

    • Keep the dealer (no not forever! ) If you prefer that the dealer doesn't change after 30 minutes, during a private booking you can keep the dealer for 1 hour.

    Unfortunately:

    • You don't get to choose your dealers in advance.

As any regular player at the Playtech Euro studio will know, .. dealers are not allowed to tell players their working week schedule. So how would you know when to book them?

If you ask a Playtech dealer when they are working later in the week the response is ...

I'll have to check my schedule
Do any players believe that taught response ... it makes dealers seem to have the worst memories ever!

    • And remember any chat you send during the private booking can, & most likely WILL be read by all dealers who come to the table hours & days later.

Mouse rolling to read previous chat is used as something to alleviate the boredom of working quiet tables.

That cancer at Playtech is standard behaviour among the dealers.

Great idea for the big fish out there

With details of your username, date of booking, start and end time, & how you wish to be contacted to confirm booking.
Presumably your account balance and/or play history are determinative in deciding whether to allow the booking?
ie big balance, active history = better chance of getting table?

    • 25% back on losses on first booking, or 10% back on winnings.

(before you ask LD, I couldn't see in T&C's what limits apply)

Betfair don't seem to be promoting the option to book a private blackjack table anymore.

Meanwhile, they have changed one of their dedicated tables to VIP with a higher minimum bet (£25)

The VIP table is a new mustard yellow colour.

    Hi david again,

You sure do love Betfair the way you keep bumping very old promotions etc. ... maybe you would like to read this page and then give Betfair a review.

Or else do you work for them ... do you want to reveal your cards?
