Well you could say William Hill sort of went the other way. In that Playtech part owned WHO and yet their dedicated area was at Evolution and they chose to pay a couple/several (£424) million to escape Playtech.

The Ladbrokes transfer was a given since they were struggling and Playtech bought into them after the William Hill saga.

The Playtech studio puts on a 'big show' when casino bosses/exec's visit. Everything having to be extra clean and tidy, best behaviour, more lipstick etc. I'm sure the visiting casino exec's are not told how dealers pay is rewarded even for keeping players who NEVER bet at the tables.

Whereas with the Evolution studio it's almost a take us as you find us attitude ... no big clean effort etc.

ps. don't ignore the red triangle in that riddle

    From the news wire....

Sky Betting and Gaming, the online gaming subsidiary of UK pay-television broadcaster BSkyB, has appointed online gaming software giant Playtech as its exclusive provider of casino and live dealer products.

Under the deal, Sky Bet customers will have access to Playtech’s casino games library, which includes a range of table, card and slots games in web and mobile formats.

Sky Bet will also utilise Playtech’s live casino offering, which will allow players to take advantage of Playtech’s live private environment.
The phrase 'exclusive provider' is thrown around a lot in online gambling press releases so can't be taken as gospel, but if the literal meaning is accurate here, then all other providers will soon be out the door at Sky.

Certainly can't mean Playtech will providing their software to Sky at the exclusion of all other operators

What is going on with the new Sky Casino dresses? They look like short-sleeved wetsuits. They've gone from sexy to sexless overnight.

I know the jury's out on the new look Sky casino. However, it has won this year’s eGaming Review Innovation in Casino award.

Some excerpts from the PR put out by Playtech last week...

Sky won the innovation award due to its significant Live Casino growth and achievements, including close collaboration with Playtech on Live product innovation, and usability and accessibility that has driven consistent uplift in Live performance
Sky launched a new, state-of-the-art dedicated Live Casino environment within Playtech’s new studio in Riga, Latvia, in April this year, using the industry’s leading digital Roulette wheel that allows players to immerse themselves in the action.
Sky’s new Live Casino is part of Playtech Live’s next-generation offering which, following significant investment in the industry’s most advanced technology, offers Sky and many other leading brands and their players, with an enhanced mobile and desktop experience, major product enhancements and improved gameplay.
The new Playtech Live building is the world’s largest next-generation live casino studio catering for hundreds of custom-made tables and gaming areas, an advanced control and monitoring centre and large-scale dealer campus used to train and develop all Playtech Live’s staff.
