    Scottish independence referendum

    YES: 44.7%, 1,617,989
    NO: 55.30%, 2,001,926

    Betfair's exchange called it corrrectly a couple of days ago
    'coz good old fashioned real random beats simulated random any day

    Yeah Betfair were more confident than the polls suggesting a much closer result. Couple weeks ago one poll had independence vote ahead.

    Westminster political party leaders etc. all went to Scotland offering more devolved powers if they remained in UK.
