    Paf applying for UK license

And (curiously) not accepting any new UK player registrations until they have their license...

    Hi
Paf is currently applying for an operating licence from the Gambling Commission. While preparing for Paf’s relaunch in Britain according to the Gambling Commission's requirements, Paf has disabled the possibility for new customers in Britain to register a gaming account at Paf.com. During that period all current Paf customers in Britain will still be able to log in to their accounts and, if desired, make withdrawals from their accounts. These changes will come into force on September 30, 2014.

I'm getting a lot of such notices from my various Evolution casino accounts.

Also asking me to provide identification such as passport etc. to continue to use the account ... which I didn't have to do previously.

ID:	2742 - the Paf notice states that....

from 30 September 2014 Paf will adopt the following restrictions for customers in Britain:

disable the possibility for existing customers in Britain to play at Paf.com
disable the possibility for existing customers in Britain to make deposits

... nothing to be concerned about though, presumably UK players will play at a co.uk site once Paf receives an operating licence from the Gambling Commission.

exactly....they're just playing it very conservatively during application process. The whole point of getting a license is so they can continue providing service to, and advertise to UK players (albeit via .co.uk page)

Paf have removed the 30th September restrictions for UK players following the postponement of the UK Gambling Act.

They are still in the process of applying for an operating licence under the new licensing system.

    Here we go again.

While Paf are applying for an operating licence from the Gambling Commission....

The player restrictions announced previously by Paf will NOW be applied from 31st October 2014 for players in Great Britain:

disable the possibility for existing customers in Britain to play at Paf.com
disable the possibility for existing customers in Britain to make deposits

Hopefully these restrictions won't last long. Paf say that they...

expect to be granted an operating licence and will then relaunch in Britain

Meantime UK players could head over to the blog for a look how Halloween was looking prior to the restrictions.

Well the restrictions are finally over in the UK....but not the best way for players.

Just received a message from Paf saying they will be blocking all gaming for UK players from the 12th July as Paf "will no longer be active" in the UK.
