Bet Behind blackjack feature now at Evolution

William Hill blackjack tables at Evolution now have the option to Bet Behind a player when playing on PC.

For those players unfamiliar with the concept, basically it allows you to play blackjack at a table when there are no free seats by 'sitting behind' a player and bet on hands dealt to the player.

The payouts for Bet Behind wagers are the same as for ordinary bets.

Currently it's a William Hill exclusive ... but expect to see the feature adopted by more Evolution casinos next year.

The Bet Behind feature is between the 2 side bet options on seated players.

A medal next to the player name tells you how many hands the player has won (resets to zero when dealer wins).

Playtech blackjack players have had the option to sit behind a player since 2013.

although:

Evolution's feature allows you to chat to the dealer .... the same as always (whether or not you have a seat). Whereas at Playtech you can't chat to the dealer.

Bet limits are lower than regular seats with Evolution's. The same bet limits apply at Playtech.

There are also more options regarding doubling down and electing to play only one hand of a split pair with Evolution's feature.

& there's no number of winning hands info on the Playtech feature.

Evolution have now released the Bet Behind feature on the green (general floor) blackjack tables.

With the potential to be added to dedicated casino tables in future ... as William Hill debuted.

Well that was a 2 year wait, but it's finally here (along with the introduction of the new style UI).

Following the rollout of the Blackjack Party table on mobile where Bet Behind is almost a necessity, the feature has arrived on mobile.

Grosvenor Casinos are among the first to have fully implemented the Bet Behind (& the Deal Now feature) on mobile.
