Thread: Blackjack Party table

  1. #11
    Hi s1dor, welcome.

To be honest, my overall impression about the table is that at times as a player I feel almost like a third wheel at table. The male & female dealers can become a bit too much touchy & into each others chat. I realise they have to keep the party atmosphere going and when players aren't always talking it must be an easy thing to slip into.

I know if one of my 'special' favourite dealers was working there I wouldn't like the feeling of seeing such antics.

I've seen players hurling abuse at the male dealers, obviously jealous that they were with their favourite dealer.

As I understood it, dealers were told they're supposed to concentrate on players, but that guidance seems to fail. Sometimes dealers are collecting cards and not even commentating on result as they are so engaged in banter with the presenter/co-host.

    • I've always thought general cross table chat/joking between dealers at Evolution, or to supervisors/CSR's at Playtech was very unprofessional and rude towards players.

I believe there's to different opinions about this way of gaming. One is players and the other is dealers. So people who are managing this project need to understand both of them. As for the players, I think there's 2 types of them. First comes to make profit (if lucky). Second, is playing online casino mostly because of the chat. If your loving chat, you need energetic lads. Doesn't really matters a boy or a girl. But as i said before, statistics shows that on online gambling there`s 82% of men and 18% of women. We need to understand that as well.
My own opinion about 'couple players' is slightly ambiguous. There's a good example of how 2 girls playing the lottery thing. That's how I see it.

    • Well if you are a player at the casino to simply make a profit then the Blackjack Party table is NOT for you.

Those players would be better served playing at the VIP tables etc.

I quite often see players sitting at the lowest limit tables placing bets of £/€30+ each hand complaining about players who bet the minimum and are chatting to the dealer. Basically they are showing off that they are betting more than other players, and then they think it gives them the right to dictate what happens at the table.

As for the players, I think most of the players are men, so they would prefer 2 cute girls

    • That was always along my lines of thinking, but given the high percentage of male dealers now at the studios it doesn't seem to be a major consideration by the studio bosses anymore.

Having male dealers at all 6 exclusive tables in a dedicated area seems very strange ... but it happens now!

It doesn't appear the people managing the project (or bosses in general at studios) consider, or care so much about dealers feelings etc.

Otherwise they wouldn't expect dealers to work the table all shift (currently several days in a row for the newly opened table). It must be a mental strain keeping up the performance.

And what is it with expecting dealers to do a quick dress change and go straight to Immersive roulette? Then change dress again before back to Party etc.... The dealers look gorgeous in the dresses they wear for the Party table, and ought to wear them at the roulette table also.

Talking of Immersive Roulette .... having to sit on the stool with no back rest all shift must be back breaking.

I'm assuming by the lottery thing you mean as hosted by Lilita, Elina, Natalija (see here).

I think it would be better if they mixed up the format on the table ... sometimes both female, or even just 1 dealer.

As soon as I saw the table I thought it was perfect for Lilita. She has enough energy to create a party atmosphere all on her own, given music and a few props (hats etc.).

But, It wouldn't be fair to ask any dealer to work the table all day alone ... so perhaps if they just did half the shift on the table.

That's what I meant. In some pairs, one of the dealers can do all the job instead of two people. And the other will just sit because he's/she's pretty.
I understand that the company has its own goals and rules to achieve them. But as you said before, these new tables are mostly for the "Party". I think the main criterion when company is choosing girls for these table is appearance. So if you come there and see gougers girl in a beautiful dress, probably you expect a nice chat with her as well. Not only a huge cut-out dress and a sparkling smile. However, as seen on most of the tables, there's just a girl without any enthusiasm. In most cases English isn't so good, and you can hardly hear their voices. Also, as I know (as well as most of the players), English is not their native language. Besides the fact that they need to speak a foreign language with each other, they have to entertain people and do not forget about sitting next to him another dealer. Especially in pairs of boy and girl, where girl attract more attention, which greatly complicates the work of both.

Latest info is that the roll out is a couple of days behind schedule

And I am reliably informed by several sources that players from other casinos will be able to see each other's chat ... which will probably lead to more player squabbles
