CORAL have opened a pop-up roulette at Playtech in time for the Cheltenham Festival
Anyone play these tables during the festival?

If so, do you think the live races at the tables is a winner? Or a gimmick that we're unlikely to see again?
'coz good old fashioned real random beats simulated random any day

I did LD, of course .... and was planning to mention in this month's blog (when it gets done!).

I thought it was a winner with players. Several players were talking about the races, cheering on horses. Obviously some casino players had been tempted to bet on horses, as opposed to punters betting on horses and then deciding the best place to watch would be at a casino table (if you get my drift).

The dealers did come across slightly as a third wheel with less horsey related chat. A host/bookie/pundit figure did keep popping to the table with promotion bet bonuses, discussing the race results and coming up.

Overall opinion .... definitely worth seeing again and not so distracting as I've encountered elsewhere.

Coral launched their impressive new table area earlier this year in Playtech's new studio.

Now Gala casino (private) tables have made the switch to the new before you don't see the word Gala anywhere.

The Exclusive/Gala roulette table is just a 2 camera angle setup (wide & wheel).

Obviously there's not as much cash invested in new tables for Gala casino compared to Coral. Even the dealers new dresses are Coral dresses minus the C brooches.

But I think the raised tiled wall effect looks good enough and complements the design of Gala's website.
