New look live lobbys

First it was Evolution Gaming with a new lobby being rolled out this month.

Now it's Playtech casinos who are beginning to introduce a new look live lobby....





Betfair's lobby pictured here scrolls the tables vertically down the screen, although you could imagine casinos possibly having the option to scroll horizontal.

For all the glossy nature of these new lobbys I'm not ready to say I like either at Evolution or Playtech.

The tables take up too much screen space such that only a few are visible at any one time necessitating much scrolling and is less convenient than being able to compare the majority of tables on screen at once.

When table is full, dealer's name and table limits will not be shown after moving the cursor to "i" (the lower right corner). WH or UB or any other - the same situation is reflected. "Full" can be only blackjacks of course...

P.S. Why am i suffering from some problems with attaching images ? Size more than 100 kb - too big (LOL, but it's more sad than funny) ? How to say it better... Measuring the amount of data in kilobytes was typical for 60-70s of the XX century...

Default Vbulletin member setting. Easy solution is to make your images less than 100kb

American rapper Vanilla Ice has a song with such lyrics: Ice, ice baby, too cold, too cold. I can now sing something similar: One hundred, hundred kilobytes - too small, too small. Seriously... At least 1Mb, better 2 - would be more than fair and enough.

There's nothing to be gained from larger files.

If everbody posted large file size images it would just slow down the forum and many people (inc. dealers, Promo Hosts and so on) check the site on their mobile devices, I know.

I already find the new lobbys (subject of this thread) annoying enough.

So no thanks to larger image file sizes.

William Hill have switched to the new Evolution lobby design

Just received an email from WH marketing today saying they have a new live lobby. Could have been cheeky and replied that they should check the forums for updates on what's happening with their live casino

888 live casino are often a bit behind the curve with the latest Evolution features and tables.

Anyway, they've got round to introducing the new look live lobby on PC and mobile devices.

Maybe LD should expect an email from 888's marketing team some time in the next few months saying they have a new live lobby .... that's if they're not too busy dealing with the William Hill/Rank merger talks .

...to say they've added Immersive roulette To soon for the new lobby!

I like all the detail these new lobbies provide, but find them a bit annoying to navigate...particularly scrolling down to see all tables.

Perhaps I just need to improve my mouse handling skills
