More casino consolidation/merger/acquisition news as 2017 draws to an end. Though, hardly the biggest financial deal to shake up the world of live dealer in recent years.

Mr Green has acquired Evoke Gaming in a €7m (+ €1.5m if conditions are met) deal.

Evoke Gaming brands include Redbet, WinningRoom, Vinnarum Casino, MamaMia Bingo & Bertil.

In announcing the deal a Mr Green said, Redbet is in a "strong position" in the UK and Sweden, with

major potential to grow in parallel with Mr Green and develop into a global brand

Redbet players already (like Mr Green) have access to live dealer games from Evolution Gaming & NetEnt.

Also available at Redbet are several nice looking, newly opened "Blackjack Classic" tables from Evolution - accessible to Evoke Gaming brands.

    Thanks Fester

Wouldn't be surprised if the Mr Green group gets gobbled up by a bigger operator before too long either.

    Now 15 'Blackjack Classic' tables.

Strong leaning to low limits on these tables also. €5 minimums on 10 of them.
Throw in Mr Green's private tables and you have 15 live blackjack tables where a €5 bet lets you join the action (at Mr Green that is)

The Classic tables have increased in number a few times since they first opened, readily obvious by the different styling and physical location - eg. the latest Mr Green BJ5 (pictured here) table is actually in the Georgia studio.

As an aside story I know some Evolution dealers in the Malta studio were unhappy to be told they had to move to the Georgia studio and the lower rate of pay for dealers in the country.

    In a roundabout fashion LD....

the increasing number of Blackjack Classic tables can be attributed to the fact that they are now available at a wider selection of casinos including Mr Green's fellow Nordic brand Leo Vegas.

well that certainly came to pass LD and another couple of chapters in your average casino lifestory .... to summarize,

    • Evoke Gaming (Redbet) acquired by Mr Green

    • Mr Green acquired by William Hill

take your pick when the decision was made,

but the latest news affecting players is that Redbet are ceasing operations in the UK from 27th October 2021. Players have until 26th November 2021 to withdraw funds.
